Sunitas Eltern sind mit dem Bau des neuen Hauses beschaftigt und somit hat niemand Zeit, um sich Sunitas Sorgen anzuhoren. Glucklicherweise hat sie eine aufmerksame Lehrerin, die ihr zu Hilfe kommt. Die Lehrerin nimmt Sunita zu einem ihrer Freunde, der Arzt ist, mit, und sie bringt ihr auerdem bei, wie sie sich selbst ein neues Kuscheltier stricken kann, da sie ihres verloren hatte.
Sunita lernt dabei, dass man nicht nur auere Wunden bekommen kann, sondern auch unter der Oberflache verletzlich ist. Glucklicherweise kann man diese auch heilen.
