Years and Years, DVD DVD

Emma Thompson and Rory Kinnear star in this six-part BBC drama centred on a family from Manchester.

Written by Russell T. Davies, the show follows the lives of Stephen and Celeste Lyons (Kinnear and T'Nia Miller), their three children and extended family over the course of 15 turbulent years.

Through a period of stark economic and political upheaval, single mother Rosie Lyons (Ruth Madeley) raises her child, her brother Daniel (Russell Tovey) experiences doubts about his husband, and their sister Edith (Jessica Hynes) becomes involved in political activism.

Meanwhile, far-right populist politician Vivienne Rook (Thompson) experiences a remarkable rise to power.
