Description

Glenn Kilbourne is a sick and injured man who returns to New York to his fiancee Carley Burch, after fighting in France in World War I.

He decides to move to Arizona in order to recover his health and there he meets Flo Hutter, the daughter in the family he is staying with.

Glenn decides to stay in Arizona and become a hog farmer but his fiancee, who cannot lead such life, breaks the engagement.

After returning to New York Carley feels empty and misses Glenn.

She decides to travel back to Arizona and marry him.

What she does not know is that Glenn has already proposed to Flo."The Call of the Canyon" from 1924 is a Western novel by Zane Grey.
