Documentary which depicts the recording of Aretha Franklin's live gospel album 'Amazing Grace' at the New Temple Missionary Baptist Church in Los Angeles in 1972.

Filmed over two nights in January, Franklin is joined by Reverend James Cleveland and the Southern California Community Choir, while director Sydney Pollack captures the recording sessions.
