Description

David Bowie and Rosanna Arquette star in this US comedy co-written and directed by Richard Shepard.

After moving to New York, Brit Monte (Bowie) gets a job in a Manhattan restaurant where he meets a waitress and aspiring escapologist named Lucy (Arquette).

Desperate to marry for a green card, Monte pursues the reluctant waitress until she finally agrees to go out with him on the condition that he'll be her assistant for her next trick.

Both in desperate need of some cash, the pair hatch a plan to rob the restaurant, before they get married.

However, after roping in Lucy's friend Viv (Eszter Balint) to serve as their accomplice, the robbery doesn't quite go according to plan...
