Description

Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility.

It seemed to me that a series of selections from this text would be useful both as providing an interesting vehicle for the study of old-irish and as an easy introduction to the Saga literature.

In the following extracts I have tried as far as possible to remove the middle-irishisms which have crept into the text, and to restore the language of the eighth century.

As both mss. Are easily accessible in facsimile, it has seemed unnecessary to give all the mss.

Readings. Mere orthographical changes.
