I May Be Green But I'm Not A Cabbage, Paperback / softback Book

I May Be Green But I'm Not A Cabbage Paperback / softback

Paperback / softback

Description

Broccoli is a simple down-to-earth country vegetable; he wins 1st Prize, Vegan of the year, opening a can of resentment, upsetting most food groups, especially Brussels Sprout and his close friend Rutabaga the Swede, who thought they should have won.

It explores the relationships between the various food groups exposing the dark underbelly of the cruciferous families' struggle for top status over all others with no sod unturned.

As they scramble to climb the green food chain it exposes their internal conflicts and allegiances which have been growing in the fields as well as hydroponic sheds over decades, resulting in the disappearance of the main competitor. Is it kidnapping or worse?

'I may be green but I'm not a cabbage' is for children aged from 5 to 75.
