Description
When Finnlea Galbraith discovers her arts and crafts store destroyed, she is a at loss to know who or why would endanger her livelihood and that of those artists who she supported. Liem Steele walked up to help her, not intending to end up abducted when Finnlea was.
Escaping from their abductors, Liem and Finnlea run, determined to escape. And once they've escaped, they are determined to find the men or women responsible for this danger and destruction.
Drawing in Liem's private investigator brother, the couple struggles to understand the reason for their adventure. At a loss to understand why Finnlea has been targeted, their attention turns to the man who owns the farm where they were held and his background.
Liem's admiration for the beautiful lady dropped into his life grows into friendship and then to love. The icy heart that he had had for years disappeared before Finnlea's onslaught against it. Finnlea, on the other hand, a feisty and stubborn lady determined to stand on her own two feet, resists the attraction growing between them.
Twists and turns and danger stalk them every day and everywhere they go. Packages delivered containing threats do not deter them, nor do the letters and text messages. When one disappears for days on the end, the other half of the now couple searches for them, fearful that the other will end up dead.
As they continue to the climax of their adventure, their faith and trust in God are tested and proven stronger than they had been. God indeed proves that He is their protector and defender as He calls them to trust Him more completely.
