Description

This is a husbandand wife team whoboth enjoy writingin rhyme.

A retired couplewho moved to Cornwallfifteen years ago, they metmany new friends on theirkaraoke weekends.

Over theyears Norman has mergedfrom a musical background to writing childrens rhyming stories.

Hisin-between years were centred on becoming a successful song writer.

Hehas always enjoyed writing from the early age of eleven, where his rhymingstorys were rewarded and displayed on the classroom wall.

But in the1960s after an unsuccessful period with several bands he met his wife tobe Julie in London; then he wished only to develop their relationship andsettle down.

They moved to Manchester/Salford where he was originallyfrom.

Both shared interests in singing and writing in rhyme, but it wasntuntil they moved to Cornwall that they both joined a poetry groupfrom where they decided to start their joint venture and get a bookpublished.

Julie came from Vauxhall in London and used to bunkoff school at every opportunity, she rues her missed days at schoolleaving without the know how to create a comprehensive composition. That all changed when she met Norman. Together he would explainthe art of spelling and composition and as her confidence grew sheblossomed.

She tells about her life with friends and family, her pets;and her religious beliefs.

These are the building blocks on which shehas found her joy for creative writing.
