With its superb site, with the push, enterprise, courage and liberality that has come to be considered characteristic of its citizens, Denver has easily in its grasp a higher destiny.

It can so assure its future that it may now take, and expect to hold a place in the front rank of the world's noble cities.

That it will do this, I cannot doubt, and I am proud to have had this opportunity to connect my name with its development.
