Description

A tale of forbidden romance based on a short story by Thomas Hardy.

Deserting German hussar, Matthaus Singer (Jean-Marc Barr) falls madly in love with solicitor's daughter Frances Groves (Emma Fielding) whereby she is torn between her duty and her desire.
