This valuable historical guide contains a cornucopia of photographs, advertisements and information relating to the Stroud area.

As well as general information, the book includes interesting chapters on drives and short cycle trips, the geology of mid-Gloucestershire, archaeological notes on the district, and church bells of mid-Gloucestershire.
