Kuan-yin Pilgrimage is a professionally produced video that documents the modern worship of the Chinese deity Kuan-yin.
It was prepared by Chun-fang Yu, the author of the Columbia University Press book Kuan-yin: The Chinese Transformation of Avalokiteshvara.
The video was distributed by a small company that has now closed due to the owner's retirement, and the author would like us to take it on.
All that would be needed is a line mention whenever the book is cataloged, advertised, or promoted.
We would duplicate on demand and share the net proceeds with the author 50/50.
The video has sold about 150 copies between 2000 and 2001.The video was filmed on location in China, and it records the religious celebrations connected with Kuan-yin's birthday at two important centers.
It shows the sites themselves, the pilgrims, and the rituals connected with the celebration.
