Description

Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. The Human Mind by James Sully is an interesting read on the subject of philosophy.

Sully was a prominent figure in the psychological world, being one of the founding members of the British Psychological Society and Grote Professor of the Philosophy of Mind and Logic for University College in London.

His writings were some of the first on the subject to be written in English and have been commended by well known psychologists such as Freud and Wundt.

The book is a textbook that further expands on Sully's ideas that had previously been mentioned in his 'Outlines of Psychology'.

It provides an interesting insight into the ideas of the time, giving a thorough description of the then revolutionary new ideas and theories.

The book is in two volumes due to its complex and meticulous nature and is a beautifully detailed look at the psychological findings of the time.

A brilliant read for anyone interested in the historical significance of many modern day theories and those directly interested in the theories of the great James Sully.
