Operation : Geronimo II, Hardback Book

Operation : Geronimo II Hardback

Hardback

Description

"This novel is written by a retiring White House appointee to the

Department of Defense for the last twenty-one years. A former

USAR NCO with various skills and degrees, I was first appointed

to the Kosovo Task Force by the Clinton Administration then set

free to “find them things” as a freelance intelligence gatherer. As my

skills developed, I was able to not only find them things, but also give

assessment and thought to military and covert operations.

I wrote about the bin Laden raid (Operation: Neptune Seal) in

Abbottsbad, six months prior to it happening in the spring of 2011.

That in a reply to a public request by CEN COMM Commander

General Petreaus for more covert operations in the region. In my military

opinion, it was a “viable military operation with a treasure trove

of intelligence to be had.” I will not claim to have the original idea for

the raid. Others have that. But I had about 40% of the raid’s key elements

defined in the report. I did confirm to both the White House

and the Joint Chiefs that it could be a very successful raid. But I saw

it as a ranger raid of battilion size, not the small SEAL team raid."
