The show follows hotel manager Basil Fawlty (Cleese) as he runs the Torquay hotel 'Fawlty Towers' with the help of his wife Sibyl (Prunella Scales), chambermaid Polly (Booth) and Spanish waiter Manuel (Andrew Sachs).
