The Return, Paperback / softback Book

The Return Paperback / softback

Paperback / softback

Description

The book re-navigates my journey to becoming an artist from the village of Southern Nigeria to the slums of the then capital city of Nigeria-Lagos, through to the Soviet Union and to the independent Kazakhstan, where I eventually had my very first personal exhibition as an artist in 1996-seeing this as the return to myself-the artist.Ever since I was a kid, the thing I have enjoyed doing most is drawing, however choosing Fine art as a profession in the society I grew up was not considered dignifying, hence the long the journey.
