Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Coleen Salley lived for many years in the French Quarter of New Orleans. ILLUSTRATOR: Janet Stevens is the author and illustrator of many beloved picture books, including 'Tops & Bottoms', a Caldecott Honor Book.
