A little bit about us

The All Good Bookshop is owned by a group of Haringey residents. Our mission is to bring a community-owned bookshop and much-needed community space to Wood Green/Turnpike Lane. We are working together to create a community hub where residents can come together, discover great books, attend events, meet neighbours and share ideas in a welcoming and affordable bookshop and community space.

Wood Green had a bookshop in it for over 20 years, selling brilliant books and being a hub of the community. But suddenly at the end of 2018 a void opened up. So we set up the All Good Bookshop Cooperative to bring a community bookshop back to the area. We’ve succeeded in opening a vibrant book shop in Turnpike Lane, offering locals a personal order service, a monthly Personal Shopper subscription, group meetings such as our successful book groups, and writing group, comedy nights, author talks and other events. We also give schools a discounted book service.

Come visit us at 35 Turnpike Lane in sunny Wood Green, London. We’re two minutes walk away from Turnpike Lane station! We're are open for browsing and collections seven days a week. We also deliver free to local customers.
