A little bit about us

Housed in a wonky green shop on Ship Street in Brecon, we stock a selection of Literature, Poetry, Children’s fiction, Welsh, Nature, Outdoors, and local interest titles, along with second-hand books, bookish gifts such as bags, mugs, stationery, and beautiful greeting cards. All our books are handpicked one by one with a particular reader in mind: "Who would read this and why?"

Bookshops are magical places. They contain within their walls literally thousands of words all depicting places, people, thoughts, feelings, dreams, and ideas you might never know about until you pick up a particular book, turn it over in your hand, smell its pages, leap in and lose yourself.
