More of the same, more or less. It's pulp-y action adventure, and unashamedly so. One-liners, gunfights, thrills and chases - all here. Just don't expect much depth in the characters (even if there actually is some development in that regard since the last book, surpringly enough), and prepared to just run with the setting rather than questioning it - much more fun that way.

A rare example of a sequel that surpasses the original. With his characters established, Wooding has a more assured touch, and the result is another thoroughly enjoyable adventure, with plenty of twists and turns - and the odd laugh-out-loud moment. Good fun.
