Belly Button Book Board book
Part of the Boynton on Board S. series
Bravo for the belly button! Emboldened by the enthusiastic response to "Belly Button (Round)" -a song from her Grammy-nominated book/CD, Philadelphia Chickens-Sandra Boynton further contemplates this mesmerizing subject.
Featuring a beachful of bare-bellied hippos-including one tiny baby who can only say "Bee Bo"-the "Belly Button Book" is the latest quirky addition to the phenomenally successful "Boynton on Board" series.
Every page captivates with Sandra Boynton's inimitable illustrations and joyful rhyming text: Soon after dark, upon the beach, we sing a hippo song, and if you're feeling in the mood, we hope you'll sing along: "Belly Belly Button, you're oh so fine.
Ooo, Belly Button, I'm so happy you're mine." Shiny and sturdy, and featuring a great (navel-shaped, naturally) die cut cover that offers a provocative glimpse of the merriment inside, the "Belly Button Book" provides enduring, giggly, read-aloud fun.

this is one of my almost 2 year old granddaughter's long time favorites! She calls her own belly button a bee-bo! Makes a great gift for a one year old!

This one sort of grows on you. At first I gave it 3 stars, but have switched my opinion to 4. My two-year-old now refers to his belly button as a bee-bo!

Actually more of a favorite of my preteen than of my toddler. A very cute addition to the Boynton collection for lovers of all things hippo-related (or ducky-related).

Just a cute, silly, kinda pointless book about hippos and their love of their belly buttons. My sister and I have taken to quoting this book at random intervals throughout the day. It grows on you. It's not as catchy as most of Boynton's work, but it definitely has its own charm.

More Boynton fun, and there's a related song to learn, hurrah!
