Description

This is a long overdue monograph spanning 40 years of the work of acclaimed painter Duncan de Kergommeaux.

Duncan de Kergommeaux is a first generation Canadian of Breton descent born in Northern British Columbia in 1927.

His career as an artist has spanned five decades: the 1950's and 1960's in Ottawa, and the 1970's through 2000 in London, Ontario where he was a Professor of Art at University of Western Ontario.

Since 1951, he has had more than 50 solo exhibitions across Canada, including an exhibition circulated by the National Gallery of Canada worldwide.

This long-overdue monograph features works produced over a period spanning 1968-2008 and amply shows Kergommeaux's evolution.
